Plant identification walks are back for 2025!

✨Are you curious about foraging or looking to deepen your plant identification knowledge?

✨Learn about gathering ethics, land ecology and native plant species?

✨Explore ethnobotany through the history of plants and their uses?

Join me in a guided plant walk where we’ll discuss all this and more in a local park with mature old growth forest!🌲

We’ll spend 2+ hours wandering through the forest to find, identify, and discuss dozens of local plant species and their medicinal & functional uses!🌿

With registration you’ll receive herbal reference cards, notepad & pen, water and snacks!

July 26: 10 am - 12:30 pm
August 24: 9 am - 11:30 am

Local weaving opportunity!

Join us for a Weaving Workshop with Stephanie Craig!

Stephanie Craig is a seventh-generation, Grand Ronde basket weaver. In this workshop learn traditional weaving techniques with cedar bark, as well as sedge, rush, and grass. Stephanie will shares how to gather, prepare and store bark, and traditional ecological knowledge and lifeways. At the end of our two days participants can leave with a completed basket!

I’ve spent over the last year behind the scenes, taking time off to have my sweet explorer, Riley, and getting back to my new normal life! 🥾

I’m ready to adventure outside with you and teach all about our natural environment🌲
