Every Monday for the past several months, three lady residents at Life Care Center of the South Shore convene in the kitchen to prepare meals, swap recipes, and tell stories about their lives

🎅 A little late but couldn't be forgotten... these family members of a resident came and brought holiday spirit to the entire building. We consider ourselves blessed. 🎁 Gifts were handed out with cheer, and smiles were seen all around the building.

👩‍⚕️ Ann McGill, LPN Nurse for 47 years, retiring from the South Shore, was showered with lunch, treats, flowers and balloons! 🎈 You will surely be missed by residents and staff! Ann, enjoy your retirement. Best wishes!

🇺🇸 Our residents had a wonderful breakfast with Marshfield and Scituate veterans! Thank you to Lisa and Carin from Marshfield and Josh from Scituate. This group of veterans always makes our residents excited to see them, catching up with some great old stories. 😀

There were about 25 veterans gathered around, and the room was vibrantly filled with smiles and laughter. 🫡

🌟 The residents at the South Shore were treated to a bus ride to Marshfield Fair's South Shore Celebration of Lights!

Thanks to our Maintenance Director, Josh, for driving 🚐 and treating the residents to fried dough 😋, Lia our Activity Director and Jyoti and our amazing Rehab Team for staying late and accompanying the residents for this wonderful Christmas treat! 🎄 The lights were beautiful and all had a wonderful evening!

The ladies of the South Shore got early Christmas gifts, aprons for the Spoonfuls of Friendship Group, created by Patrice our OTR/L. 👩‍🍳

These wonderful ladies share their life stories and recipes while enjoying each other's company and meals they create. Every week, Spoonfuls of Friendship comes together with an interesting recipe with a personal touch. Patrice challenges them with memory, strength and coordination tasks to provide and maintain a meaningful life and purpose as they always had.
