der of TLC, holds a Master’s in Acupuncture from Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine where she graduated with honors. She is board certified by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) and holds a license to practice in the state of New Jersey. Lauren’s educational focus includes diverse protocols from Traditional Chinese Medicine, Five Element, and Japanese-style acupuncture. Drawing insight from each of these styles’ diagnostic and treatment methods allows Lauren to successfully identify and treat disharmonies at their root. Prior to pursuing education in Acupuncture, Lauren received her Bachelor's in Liberal Studies from Boston University where she graduated with honors and was a member of Sigma Alpha Lambda's Honor Society. Lauren’s passion for Chinese Medicine and Eastern philosophy blossomed from her own healing experience. She began her working career in business management and was later inspired to change that path by her own acupuncturist whose distinguished work is admired by many. Her remarkable healing experiences motivated her to give back to the medicine in appreciation for what she had received. Lauren has also taken vows of refuge in Tibetan Buddhism and when not studying Chinese Medicine, she continues to deepen her understanding of Eastern philosophy.
