As we wind down our Christmas crafts and celebrations in house, activities created stables and talked about the birth of Jesus. A final piece of our holiday plans, but the true meaning of it all.

This week has been a whirlwind of Christmas gifts and visits.

To say our community spoils us is truly an understatement. Shiloh Baptist, Solid Rock Lodge, Speights Chapel Church, Hobgood Preschool, HCS Art students and so many community friends have dropped off gifts, cards and treats. If counted correctly, we had almost 350 items to deliver. What a blessing! ❤️

We partied today with gifts, food, warm laughs and holiday music. Ms. CLAUS showed up to help, we knew Santa was super busy this close to Christmas.

A time was had!! We had local legend, Gary Braddy, entertain us today. The residents, some family and staff joined him in the dining room for seasonal songs and good music that had a lot of foot taps, heads nodding and a few yee-haas. We even had some dancing and singing along, and maybe a few groupies that may join him on the road.

Thank you Karen Karen Anderson Bunn for posting about Gary wanting a few local gigs and those who helped secure him to join us.

We are blessed this Christmas!!

During the holidays, you never know what we may do to keep staff cheerful and make sure our residents have the best time.

Staff had the challenge of creating a fun filled door for Christmas. Everyone is so creative and the judging will be tough!!

Music Monday! We had the pleasure of Hobgood Charter School 5th graders this morning for Christmas Music and gifts. They did a fantastic job of singing and engaging with our residents. They were all so polite and thoughtful. After dinner, we had the traveling pharmacy group. Have you heard of the McDowell's Pharmacy carolers? They were fabulous too!!

We have enjoyed music all day. Personally, we don't know of anything any better to get you in the holiday spirit than Christmas carols sung with love. Music is one of the most precious gifts we all have access to. ❤️

We are so blessed to live in a community that loves on us every day.
