Welcome to our Dairy's Page! Here at Wolf's Legendairy, we believe in providing our cows with the utmost comfort, nutrition, and care. We are the second operating robotic milking facility in the great state of Texas and are excited for this new journey. On our farm, the cows are milked 3-4 times a day as they wish and are supplied with water beds, cow comfort brushes, and ID collars to detect if they are sick. Their milk is shipped daily by DFA and ultimately made into Daisy Sour Cream and Chipotle Sour Cream. Adam, Frank, and the employees here at Wolf's Legendairy take great pride in producing a nourishing product for their families, their community, and the public.

Your parents always told you that milk would give you strong bones. But what they may not have known is that calcium is just the start.

There’s a long list of essential nutrients in every glass of milk that fuel nearly every system and function in your body!

🚶Vitamin B12 helps build red blood cells, supports a healthy heart, and maintains the central nervous system, so you can think, move, feel, breathe, and react.

🪴Zinc works to maintain everything from a healthy immune system to supporting normal growth and development — it’s especially important if you’re feeding a growing family, or if you’ve got one on the way!

💪Thought potassium was only found in bananas? Think again. An 8-ounce glass of milk provides 10% of your daily potassium needs — supporting healthy blood pressure, muscle contraction, and nerve function.

That’s just three of the 13 essential nutrients found in milk. Sure, strong bones are critical to good health, but milk and dairy products can do so much more for you, your family, and your long-term wellness.

So, grab a glass from one of our DFA farmer-owned brands to build a stronger body and community at the link in our comments!

Adam had the opportunity to attend the DNMC Dairy Summit in Charleston, SC this past weekend. During one of the meetings, he sat on a panel to discuss and answer questions about implementing activity monitoring collars and their effects on overall herd health and performance. DMNC is a vital part of our operation that helps to guide our cattle’s nutrition. We are very thankful for Jay and his team!

Our Story

Scot-Tex Dairy is one of the oldest, continuously operating dairy farms in the Scotland, Texas area. Robert Wolf started the family farm in 1947 with two cows he milked by hand to provide for his family of seven. In 1990, Robert's son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Joyce Wolf, purchased the family's dairy herd of 200 Holstein cows. Today, Frank milks 130 Holstein cows, grows 500 acres of wheat and raises 80 beef cows. Using the same milking parlor and equipment as his father did over 70 years ago, Frank finds milking his smaller herd of cows in the stanchion "flat" barn more simple and cost efficient, while allowing a better sense and interaction with the cows. He believes having less machinery causes less problems and stress for his employees. Here at Scot-Tex Dairy, we believe in providing our cows with the utmost comfort, nutrition, and care. Cows are milked twice a day, and allowed unlimited pasture and water. Milk is shipped daily by DFA. Milk is then transported to be made into dairy products, such as, cheese, sour cream, and yogurt. Frank and his employees take great pride in producing a nourishing product for their families, their community, and the public.
