Todays hearing conservation tip is to invest in quality noise-canceling headphones which help block out external noise, allowing you to listen at a lower, safer volume.

Leading up to world hearing day I will periodically be sharing hearing conservation tips to help raise awareness about what we can do to protect our ears.

Today's tip is to always be mindful of the volume level on your personal listening devices. Even a few notches below maximum can greatly reduce potential harm.

🔎Signs your hearing aids may need cleaning.

Hearing aids don't sound as strong as they used to.

You haven't worn them in a while/they don't sound right.

Voices sound weak.

Having difficulty hearing in challenging environments.

Visible ear wax on the exterior of the hearing aid.

Saying "huh" and "what" frequently even when wearing them.

Hello friends-

We have an exciting announcement! Precision Hearing Solutions is moving locations. We are moving to 1130 W Highway 96 in Scott City, KS. If you're familiar with Scott City you may have previously known this building as MTM siding, or possibly as the old VFW. We will be ready to see you at our new location on Monday October 3, 2022! Our business hours and days will remain the same, as well as our phone number.
