Hello everyone, my name is Kasey Leverett! I am originally from Nebraska, but moved to Kansas to pursue an education at Fort Hays State University; Roll Tigs! I have a bachelors in Sports and Exercise Science with an emphasis on Physical Therapy. After graduation my husband and I moved to a small town in southwestern Kansas where I decided to continue my education at Colby Community College to follow my dreams of being a PTA. I look forward to not only being a part of the community for a short period of time, but to help and serve anyone that I can within the walls of Scott Community Hospital.

We would like to introduce you to Jocelyn Leyva Student PTA that will be with us through January!

My name is Jocelyn Leyva and I am 21 years old. I grew up in Syracuse Kansas and I am the middle child of 5 siblings. I graduated from Syracuse High School in 2022. I also graduated from Garden City Community College with my Associate's in Science in May 2024. I started the PTA program in August 2024 at Colby Community College. My main goal is to graduate in May 2025 from the PTA program and pass my state board exam. After I am done with school I want to find a job as a PTA that is close to home and start my own family.
