The purpose of this debate is to provide voters with a fair, informative, and respectful forum where candidates for Mayor can present their platforms, discuss key issues, and respond to questions in a structured and equitable manner.

This event will not be live-streamed; instead, it will be recorded and may or may not be aired at a later date. Therefore, please plan to attend in person. The audience will be permitted to submit questions on ballot forms. If you have inquiries about the City Council or Mayor candidates, please select the appropriate candidate and write your question on the form. This initiative is intended to facilitate a seamless event ex*****on and adhere to the established time constraints.

* Applause is permitted only at designated intervals, such as the introduction and conclusion.

This is National Scrub Tech Week. For anyone who doesn't know, these phenomenal ladies are the backbone of our surgery department. They act as the surgeon's right hand- passing instruments, making sure everything touching our patients remains sterile, and standing hours on end all to assist our surgeons and help things go smoothly.
At Scott County Hospital, our scrub techs also do all of the sterilization of instruments for every department in the hospital needing sterilized instruments, among several other roles.

Without them, surgery would not be possible, so if you see them around this week, please wish them a good ST week. They deserve it!
