In West Virginia, children need:
-Prior to Kindergarten (usually at 4-year-old well check): DTaP, Polio, MMR, Varicella
-Prior to 7th grade: Tdap booster, 1st meningitis dose, HPV encouraged
-Prior to 12th grade: 2nd meningitis dose

A well-child visit includes checks of growth, development, and health habits, along with early screenings for concerns that might affect learning or behavior.

Use the 5-2-1-0 rule: 5 fruits/veggies, two or fewer hours screen time, 1 hour activity, 0 sugary drinks. Water wins!
