What an absolute amazing first day today!!

From Story Time, to Prayer Time, to Montessori time I’m not sure if it would have been possible to have a more flawless first day!!

First and foremost All the Glory to God, and secondly we want to give all the Glory to our amazing teachers and assistants. Without you all none of this would be possible!! We couldn’t have picked a better Little Light of Mine Family to start this journey with! We are so grateful for you!! 🙌

Parents that are waiting for tours or would like to do a private tour, please bare with us! We will get back to you as soon as possible and fit you in as we can! We can not wait to meet you all! 🙏

🏁🏁 WE ARE AT THE FINISH LINE 🏁🏁

🥳🙏🥳 We have some terrific news! 🥳🙏🥳

🙌🙏 Parents Please Read Until the End 🙏🙌

Yesterday, we spent the day with the Louisiana Department of Education’s Licesning Division and are absolutely thrilled to share that we passed all licensing requirements with a 100 percent and 0 deficiencies!!! We accomplished what typically takes 90 days in under a week!!! This speaks volumes to the Owner, Mrs. Chrystal, on her passion and dedication to excellence when it comes to our kiddos! Being that today is a National Holiday, it slightly delayed the process , so we are anticipating on OPENING THE DOORS this Thursday, November 13th for our very first day of school! If you have not finalized registration please do so as soon as possible! If you have not started the registration process and would like to come on by please reach out and book a time tomorrow for last minute registration! You will want your little ones here from day 1! We are SO thankful for everyone who has prayed for us, supported us, and believed in us up until this point!

We are finally clear for state licensing to visit our center this coming week! This is the final step required for us to be able to welcome our kiddos into the preschool for their first days!

As we are approaching opening day, spots are filling up rapidly!! Through God's grace we are filling up in the current classrooms that we are prepared for!

This week we will be looking to open up a couple more 3 and 4 year old classrooms and filling those up! If you have been curious about what we have to offer, please reach out to set up a tour this week. We will be available Monday-Friday! See you soon!

🚨🚨‼️IMMEDIATE OPENINGS‼️🚨🚨

🙏 With God’s Grace we will be inviting all the little ones in full time within the next week or so!! Simply waiting for State Licensing department to clear us and we will be ready to roll!! 🙌

With that being said we will have a few immediate openings in the 18 month old class as well as the 3s and 4s!! (We can maybe fit in a couple more 2 year olds!)

What an incredible turnout we had yesterday for our Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony!!!
First and foremost, we would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to our family and close friends who have been instrumental in this endeavor from its inception. It is a testament to the power of community that a family with four children, having spent a year at St. Jude in Memphis fighting for our daughter’s life, can turn a dream into a reality. We are eternally grateful for the unwavering support of those in our corner.
We would also like to express our deepest appreciation to the Mayor of Scott, the City of Scott, Envision Scott, and the Scott Business Association for their cooperation, hospitality, and warm welcome to the community. Your efforts have been instrumental in bringing us to this milestone.
Additionally, we would like to acknowledge the tireless efforts of Chase Group Construction and Chase Landry, who worked in tandem with Mc Concrete to bring this project to fruition.
Lastly, we would like to thank the families who have supported us since our announcement in March and those who have enrolled their children in the inaugural class of Little Light of Mine Academy. We are committed to creating an exceptional educational environment that is both nurturing and developmentally stimulating. As a Christian-based Montessori school, we are dedicated to revolutionizing the childcare paradigm. We take immense pride in being the first Pre-Primary Christian-based Montessori school in Lafayette Parish and are honored that you have entrusted us with the care of your children.
