A faithful member of Grace Fellowship Church, Everson Bill enjoyed fishing, visiting waterfalls, western movies and watching Fox News. He treasured trips to Ocean City, Maryland, baking cookies with his grandchildren and chocolate malts from Dairy Queen. He also enjoyed his pets, Daisy Mae, Buddy and Boo Kitty.

After graduating from Connellsville High School in 1967, she earned a bachelor's degree from Slippery Rock University by age twenty, a master's degree from the University of Arkansas by twenty-one, and her doctorate from The Ohio State University by twenty-five.
