Core Connections Physical Therapy and Pilates

Our focus is on helping each client live and exercise without hurting themselves, striving for optimal balance of strength, joint mobility and flexibility. We join physical therapy (PT) with Pilates classes and equipment and methods to detect improper joint alignment and movement strategies that lead to chronic injuries and/or pain. After evaluating our client’s history and challenges, each Physical Therapy visit is customized to meet individual movement goals and comfort level of Pilates exercise. Core Connections means to integrate breath with movement allowing access to the deeper layers of muscles in our bodies that serve to stabilize and protect joint complexes and the spine. Individual Physical Therapy sessions at Core Connections PT include a 50 min one-on-one session with a private personal trainer. Core Connections Physical Therapy provides Physical Therapy, PT, Physical Rehabilitation and Personal Training services to clients in Scotts Valley and throughout Santa Cruz County. We offer Pilates classes and Senior Pilates classes lead by personal trainers in our fully equipped Pilates studio.
