Our block party and Pony Express Ride Kick-off went well (despite the rain)! A big thank-you to Arthur's Pizza, Big Red Nebraska Popcorn, Main Street Market, and others for contributions which helped make our events possible. We appreciate Simmons Olsen law firm for supporting us by purchasing multiple lunches!

This week the DR group toured the Visitor Center at the Scotts Bluff National Monument. We then drove to the top and walked around. We enjoyed the warm sun while trying to imagine how people traveled our area way back in the 1800s. Just missing some other members who couldn’t join us for this event.

The DR members and staff enjoyed the lovely afternoon weather today. We stepped back in time and toured the Legacy of the Plains Museum today. We got our steps in, absorbed some vitamin D, fed the goats and learned some history about our area of Nebraska. What a fun afternoon we had, just missing the members who weren’t able to join us today. 😎
