The storm on June 20, 2024 was very severe and there was a lot of damage done to the trees and exterior of our Mausoleum. We have not found any damage to existing headstones, crypts or niches. Please avoid any unnecessary visits until we can be confident the other trees are stable. Our main entrance has large branches and debris and we are working to clear these out. Please avoid parking under any trees for the next several days when visiting. Thank you for your understanding at this time.

A huge thank you to all of those who came out and volunteered your time to honor our fallen heroes with a flag on each grave here at Sunset Memorial Park along with Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff too. We had such an amazing turn out!

Volunteers are needed to get area cemeteries ready for Memorial Day services this holiday weekend. At Fairview Cemetery, the placing of flags on the graves of veterans takes place Saturday at 9 a.m.

The NeFDA Board of Directors has been made aware of a nationwide scam affecting families who have experienced a death. Apparently, scammers are stealing identities and banking information by calling families and pretending to be the funeral home making arrangements and demanding payment for the services.
