New Outpatient Lab Hours

To better serve our community, the Outpatient Lab is now open from 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM. These extended hours make it easier for you to stop by before or after work.

Please note: If you arrive after 5:00 PM, you’ll need to check in through ER Admissions.

August is National Immunization Awareness Month.

Vaccines play a key role in protecting both kids and adults from preventable illnesses. Staying up to date with recommended vaccines helps keep everyone healthy especially as children head back to school.

If you’ve ever walked through the doors of Highlands Medical Center, chances are Terri Wright made a difference in your visit even if you didn’t see her.

Now, after an incredible 42 years of service, Terri is beginning a well-earned retirement.

Terri began her journey with HMC in 1983 as an Admitting Clerk and went on to hold several important roles across the hospital, including positions in Finance, Medical Management, and most recently as Admissions Manager. Even as she approaches retirement, she continues to serve as our Senior Biller. In every role, Terri demonstrated dedication and leadership that left a lasting impact on our patients, staff, and community.

It's time for some high fives! ✋ We're celebrating five incredible members of our team at Highlands Medical Center: Teresa Womack, Jaden Burgess, Ricky Guffey, Eric Altemeyer, and Jarrett Bryant.
