Last night’s Year of Remembrance was an absolute honor and blessing. Last night we gathered to honor the lives of the patients we were trusted to care for that passed over the past 12 months.
We were thrilled to be able to host this event at the newly constructed Two Sisters Park. This venue offered the perfect landscape for our team and community to gather and we are grateful to the city of Scottsboro for it.
Thank you to every family represented on a luminary and to everyone that gathered on-site with us.
Remembering is so important and we promise to always do so.
Thank you again for trusting our Heartlite Hospice team.

At Heartlite Hospice, our care comes from the heart.

We are thankful for the opportunity to serve our community — both near and far. Recently, one of our team members had the honor of providing bereavement support to a family member who lost two loved ones while under our care. Even though she lives out of state, we were able to be there for her, reminding us that compassion and connection know no distance.

We’re humbled by the kind words shared in this review and grateful for every family who allows us to walk beside them through such meaningful moments.

Our annual “Year of Remembrance” Memorial Event is coming up! This will be our 5th year to host this event as a luminary display. This year we are also fortunate to be able to utilize the Two Sisters Square park for this event. This event is open to the public and is a beautiful night of remembering. We will be memorializing all of patients served by our team who have passed away over the past 12 months. We will also be remembering some community members and leaders who have passed as well.

We had the best time with the folks of Barfield Healthcare! A little target practice, corn dogs, sweet treats and ice desserts from Cornerstone Caregiving! The animals were the sweetest too. Thank you for having us today!
