We are open this week, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 9am-2pm. We will be closed on Thursday so our staff can enjoy the day with family. Cradle will open back up December 8th.

*Reminder that next week, December 5th and 6th is our Annual Toy Giveaway so we will not be open that week as we will be getting ready. There is still time to sign up this week.

📢 **Cradle Needs Your Help**

We want to be transparent with our community: Cradle is currently experiencing a shortage in operating funds. Our monthly giving is down by **almost $3,000 per month** compared to last year.

At the same time, the need for our services continues to grow. We are now welcoming **20–30 new clients every month**, in addition to the many families we already serve.

This combination of decreased monthly support and rising demand has put a strain on our ability to cover essential operating expenses like utilities, insurance, program supplies, and day-to-day services.

Cradle is the only organization of its kind in our county providing ongoing diapers, pull-ups, wipes, formula, clothing, hygiene items, and more—completely free to families in need. To continue meeting these needs, we are asking for your support.

There is still time to sign up for our Toy Drive. We have plenty of spots available for the 5th and the 6th. Sign up in person Monday, Wednesday or Thursday from 9-2. We understand that not everyone can come in during those times so we welcome you to send someone in for you.

Our Toy Drive Sign up is officially open!
You must sign up in person! Due to our low staff we can not take sign ups over the phone. If you can not make it to Cradle we will be allowing someone to come in and sign up for you. It will be their responsibility to relay to you what date and time they signed you up for. Our hours are Mon.-Thurs. 9am-2pm.
Our drive this year will be held December 5th and 6th, from 9am-2pm. At the Knights of Columbus here in Scottsburg.

Sadly this is will be our last year holding our Toy Drive. We are becoming a diaper bank in 2026 and will need the storage space.

Join us on December 10th from 6:00–7:00 PM for our annual Train Your Trainer event!

What is Train Your Trainer?
It’s a charity event where members get to “train” their trainers! You can bid to design a workout/make your trainer do specific exercises. The highest bidders decide what the trainers have to do!

💰 Bids start at $20
⏱️ Workouts are in 10 minute increments
🗓️ We’ll be taking bids up until the day of the event!
❤️ All proceeds will be donated to Cradle Family Resource Center (FRC)

Big thank you to the Community Homemakers group from Hickory Creek nursing home for graciously making puppy pillows and pads for us to use to make the dogs and cats comfortable during transport and sleep times! Such a nice gesture! ❤️
