For twenty five years, ASC has been a place where meaningful connections, compassionate care, and unforgettable moments shape every day. To celebrate this milestone, we asked our residents and team members to finish the phrase “ASC is…” and share the first thing that comes to mind.

Congratulations Katelan Cox, Social Services Director, our Quest for Excellence winner for 2025! We are looking forward to honoring this year's outstanding Quest Winners at the banquet on November 13 at the Marriott in Indianapolis.

Katelan began her career with Hickory Creek Scottsburg in 2013 as a CNA. She obtained her QMA certification in 2016, then transitioned to Social Services Director in 2020. With a drive to continue to grow, Katelan is preparing to start the Administrator in training program to obtain her Administrators license.

Katelan says working in healthcare is more than just a job to her, it’s a passion that allows her to make a meaning ful difference in the lives of others, her greatest reward.

Executive Director, Rachel Colwell, share, “Katelan’s work ethic is remarkable. What makes her stand out is not just the quality of her work, but the way she does it with kindness, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference. She is dependable, compassionate, and always willing to step up when needed. She is truly an example of ASC’s core values.”

When not at the community, Katelan enjoys spending time with her husband Brandon, and their children Abigail, Aiden, Tucker, as well as her dog Harper. She loves gardening, hiking, antique shopping, and watching her kids play sports.

We are grateful to have Katelan on our team and are thrilled to congratulate her on this well-deserved award. Congratulations, Katelan and thank you for everything you do!
