I had the privilege of working with an incredibly special couple in Italy on a recent expedition. The therapeutic value of working in an outdoor environment by the sea, and within the natural thermal springs of Negombo is like no other.
Bodywork, for me, is deeply focused and something that is not limited or defined by a particular technique. I understand it as an entirety, movement with a comprehensive-whole and very human connective engagement.
The body, the mind and the depth of an individual’s core consciousness can be involved and it is a present moment-to-moment experience.
A check-in rather than a check-out.
We, as humans, are directly involved in our entire experiences. We have affect and an effect on every aspect of our internal and external environment.
There truly it’s not a description for this work. It is an experience and I am privileged to work within this movement.
