Within the therapeutic milieu, existing relational distress and interpersonal difficulties can be expressed and safely tended to, creating the opportunity to encounter different, and therefore reparative, social outcomes. Our understanding and supportive therapeutic milieu approach provides an immersive experience that creates space to learn about oneself, change disruptive patterns, practice new interpersonal skills, and ultimately develop healthy, safe, and lasting relationships.

We also believe that the development of independent living skills is facilitated by strong and safe relational attachments. The goal for comprehensive and lasting change is not about behavioral compliance but the internalization of awareness, information, values, and new beliefs that enable an individual to make informed decisions on how to live one’s desired life. THERAPISTS: We’re looking for full-time clinicians -- associate or independently licensed -- to provide group, individual and family counseling.

REGISTERED NURSES:
This is a full-time position overseeing healthcare and medication management for a level of care.

BENEFITS:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Psychoeducation groups can treat a variety of disorders including the following:

💛 Anxiety Disorders: Anxiety disorders are characterized by feelings of stress and fear that may have no or little cause. A psychoeducation group helps members understand what’s behind their fears and come up with healthy ways to deal with stressors and signs.

💛 Eating Disorders: Eating disorders are often signs of a bigger issue. Psychoeducational groups help a person understand their issues so they can help treat eating disorders at their root.

💛 Schizophrenia: Schizophrenia symptoms include delusions, hallucinations, and an inability to think clearly. Psychoeducational groups for adults help patients identify causes so they can decrease unhealthy behavior.

💛 Other Conditions: A psychoeducational group’s ability to help patients understand their causes and issues makes it a therapy that can be adopted for almost any condition that might need extra help with symptoms or anxieties around that condition.
