We are here, ready and well prepared to help you recover. You CAN get past the fear and the doubt. We know first hand how cunning, discouraging and painful eating disorders can be. We have helped hundreds of people within all levels of treatment get through it by developing EFFECTIVE nutrition restructuring & rehabilitation plans that work! Nutrition re-stabilization is the cornerstone in ED recovery; those who achieve it have far greater and more sustainable outcomes than those who do not. We work with adolescents and their families as well as adults of all ages. To accommodate those with busy weekday schedules, our clients appreciate the scheduling flexibility they have with evening and weekend appointment as well as virtual options. We utilize a HIPAA & PCI-Compliant Virtual/Telehealth platform so if you are stuck at work, in traffic, can't find child care, or don't have a qualified provider where you live, rest assured you can have your nutrition counseling sessions wherever you can connect to the internet. We have functioned as proactive members of multiple clinical nutrition and interdisciplinary care teams. We develop and manage nutrition care plans for the most complex patients and have been known to develop and recommend creative ways to motivate proper food and fluid intake. Eating disorders can be quite unpredictable, therefore without the right experience they can be very challenging to treat. If you are reading this you are likely overwhelmed and don't know who to go to or where to begin; please don't hesitate to call. We will do the heavy lifting in the beginning and explain the entire process, while showing you how to recover from your eating disorder.

No one is immune to an eating disorder. 💜

They affect people of all genders, ages, body sizes, races, and backgrounds — and stigma only makes it harder for people to seek help.

During Eating Disorders Awareness Week, we’re breaking myths, challenging stereotypes, and reminding everyone that support, compassion, and care should be accessible to all.

If you or someone you love is struggling, you’re not alone — and help is available.

Gail Hall is a dear friend and colleague. We worked together in my early years, like 1994, was there when I became registered, she taught me so much, inspired me and I can honestly say is a huge part of my soul, my work ethic and who I am as an ED provider. My heart is still in West Michigan Gail. Thank you and love you.

Sincerely Kristine Sinner

This is Eating Disorders Awareness Week. Each year we shine the spotlight on this important mental health issue in order to increase awareness, decrease stigma, and improve access to care. I was a guest on eightWest this morning. See the interview https://www.woodtv.com/eightwest/raising-awareness-during-eating-disorders-awareness-week/ highlighting events in our area.

“I didn’t want recovery — until I needed it.”

For nearly two decades, her eating disorder felt like safety. Control. Protection. A world where rules made sense and numbness felt like peace. Recovery wasn’t something she wanted — it was something she couldn’t imagine surviving without.

Until one day, survival meant choosing something different.

Her story reminds us that eating disorders don’t exist because people are weak — they exist because they meet real needs. They protect. They numb. They give structure in chaos. And that’s what makes letting go so terrifying.

But healing didn’t come from force or perfection — it came from surrender, support, treatment, compassion, and choosing the next right step, even when it was unbearable.

Today, she’s living proof that:
✨ You don’t have to want recovery for it to save your life
✨ You don’t have to feel “ready” to deserve help
✨ You don’t have to be perfect to make progress
✨ You are not broken, beyond help, or the exception

“Recovery isn’t the end of your life — it’s the beginning of one that belongs to you.”

If this story resonates with you, know this: you don’t have to wait until you’re drowning to ask for help. You deserve support. You deserve peace. You deserve a future beyond survival. 💜
