“When dreams collide with passion there you will find purpose”

Being an entrepreneur is HARD!! Over the last two years of my journey, here is what I’ve found and developed as my own guiding principles. Sharing with you all in hopes this encourages you in some way along your journey!

How to get the most out of your investment. ‼️

Let’s be realistic, you pay money and make an investment into your mental performance, you want to get the most out of your investment. This requires a commitment on the client’s part for this to happen.

I describe it like going to the gym… you don’t go once, do 10 bicep curls, and leave the gym with stronger bigger biceps. It takes repetition to get there. The mind is like a muscle, and we have to train it just like we train our physical bodies.

If you aren’t fulfilling your end of the deal, then don’t be surprised if you don’t get optimal results. Here are some tips for when working with a mental performance trainer.

Mental Performance Training Session for these tactical athletes!

Today’s session was on Motivation and Mental toughness for these recruits.

They may never know what they will encounter in the journey ahead in their career in law enforcement, but we can give them the tools to build mental strength and manage the high stress more effectively. It’s all about prevention before intervention!

My hope is that something that was shared today stuck with them, as that nugget they hold on to for the tough moments ahead.

The first info session for the SIG start up was this morning! A huge thank you to Adam R. Wright, Ph.D., CMPC, PCC for the conversation today! It was insightful, helpful and beyond what I could have hoped for.

Key takeaway to share: expand your horizons by connecting with others… often we limit our possibilities with limited experiences. But after the conversation today, and talking to someone with 20+ years in the industry, I was able to see outside of my own bubble. That’s what this is all about!! How can we collectively increase capacity, and build awareness leading to a greater impact in the field of Sport Psychology and Mental Performance!

Knowledge + Connection = Growth

There will be more meetings to come in the future as this process progresses. I look forward to connecting with more professionals!
