Many of the patients I see have already been through a long process before they arrive at AZCCPP.

They have tried treatments, seen different providers, and are still looking for a clear explanation for their pain.

With complex pelvic pain, the first step is often not rushing into another treatment. It is taking the time to understand what is actually contributing to the symptoms.

If your pain has been difficult to explain or treat, our team at AZCCPP is here to help evaluate the full picture.

Many patients arrive at AZCCPP after years of searching for answers, often feeling frustrated, dismissed, or overwhelmed by complex symptoms. One of the most important parts of my role is taking the time to truly listen, answer questions honestly, and help patients feel informed and supported throughout the process.

I’m incredibly grateful for the trust patients place in our team and me.

Physical therapy is one of the most important parts of treating pelvic pain.

When done appropriately, pelvic floor physical therapy can help reduce muscle tension, improve movement, calm the nervous system, and support long-term recovery.

But it is also highly specialized. Not all physical therapy is the same, which is why finding a trained pelvic floor physical therapist is so important.

At AZCCPP, physical therapy is often an important part of how we approach complex pelvic pain and pudendal neuralgia.

If you’ve been struggling with pelvic pain and are looking for specialized pelvic floor physical therapy, our pelvic floor physical therapist Kayla is here to help. Call our office or request an appointment today to learn how pelvic floor therapy may support your recovery.

Some patients come in with symptoms that have been difficult to explain or treat.

In certain cases, these patterns may be consistent with pudendal neuralgia, a condition involving irritation or compression of the pudendal nerve.

Because symptoms can overlap with other conditions and are not always visible on imaging, it may not be identified early.

Recognizing these patterns is an important step in determining whether nerve involvement is contributing and how to approach treatment more effectively.

Messages like this are why we do what we do.

Many patients come in after seeing multiple providers and still feeling uncertain about their symptoms or next steps. Taking the time to listen, review their history carefully, and explain findings in a clear and understandable way is an important part of the process.

I’m grateful for the trust patients place in me and our team.

Before surgery, there is still an opportunity to prepare the body.

Prehabilitation focuses on improving how muscles, tissues, and the nervous system function before a procedure. This can support recovery, reduce early inflammation, and help patients move more comfortably after surgery.

If you are considering surgery or want to better understand how to prepare, scheduling with our pelvic physical therapist, Kayla, can be an important first step.

Most patients come in looking for one clear explanation for their pain.

In reality, pelvic pain often involves more than one contributing factor.

That’s why focusing on a single diagnosis doesn’t always lead to full relief.

Taking the time to understand the full picture is an important part of moving forward.

In 2027, AAGL will bring its Global Congress to Warsaw.

As AAGL President, I’m looking forward to welcoming colleagues from around the world for a meeting focused on advancing minimally invasive gynecologic surgery through meaningful discussion, shared experience, and scientific exchange.

Warsaw is a city that means a great deal to me. But what will make this meeting truly valuable is the opportunity to come together, learn from one another, and continue moving our field forward as a global community.

I was honored to attend the AGES conference in New Zealand as a guest representing AAGL.

AGES is an important counterpart to AAGL in Australia and New Zealand, and it was a pleasure to spend time with colleagues who are equally committed to advancing minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.

Opportunities like this are a reminder of how much we can learn from one another across regions. I’m grateful to have been part of these conversations.

Messages like this remind me why I chose this field.

Endometriosis can be incredibly complex, especially when it involves multiple organs. Many patients spend years searching for answers before finally receiving a clear diagnosis and treatment plan.

Being able to help patients better understand their condition, walk them through their options, and support them through that process is one of the most meaningful parts of my work.

I’m grateful for the trust patients place in me and our team.
