Founded in 1973, STARS is dedicated to enhancing the lives of those we serve with cognitive and developmental disabilities.

STARS serves individuals with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, seizure disorders, traumatic brain injuries and other cognitive and intellectual disabilities.

leadership team was delighted to tour the office in Phoenix which is the workplace of one of STARS program participants. The team got to learn more about the mission of Adobe Health and learn about what Lucas (our superstar) does each week! Thank you to Adobe Population Health founder Jayne Ambrose for your kindness and continued support of STARS.

Halloween party was no tricks all treats! STARS CommunityWork participants dressed in their favorite costumes and enjoyed a wide variety of snacks from popcorn, to candies, to a double chocolate cake! It was a whole bunch of spooky fun.

Our Story

STARS is improving the lives of individuals with developmental and cognitive disabilities.

Founded in 1973, Scottsdale Training and Rehabilitation Services (STARS) is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization that has been committed to providing services to teens and adults with developmental and cognitive disabilities throughout Scottsdale and the Greater Phoenix community. STARS participants each have individual needs and circumstances, including learning disabilities, traumatic brain injury, autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, seizure disorders or other physical and sensory challenges. STARS serves as a lifetime support system for participants and their families.
