In 2012, I was hired to teach stress management during one of the most stressful seasons of my life. I almost turned it down. I felt like an imposter. But a wise friend told me: āThatās exactly why you should teach itāyou have life experience and empathy on your side.ā
Fast forward to yesterday... I had the privilege of speaking at , a global company headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, with an office here in Charlotte. I delivered my signature masterclass: Emotional Intelligence: Self-Awareness Strength Training.
We explored a powerful truth: itās not the stress we face that determines our successāitās our perception of whether we have the tools to handle it. We also dove into practical strategies, including how to recognize emotional triggers, listen to understand (not to respond), and use conflict as a tool to BUILD relationships, not destroy them.
This was a live session to a handful of onsite leaders and streamed virtually to 100+ leaders throughout the country.
When leaders invest in their emotional intelligence, everything changesātheir decisions, their relationships, their impact.
If your organization is ready to build emotionally intelligent leaders who can navigate change with clarity and confidence, letās talk. š”
