🎧 Pupdate: AirPods are for ears… not bellies. 🎧

This mischievous little pup decided today’s snack of choice was not kibble, not a treat, not even a sock…

It was a set of Apple AirPods. 😳
And yes, you can see them on the X-ray, hanging out in his belly in a few different pieces like the world’s most expensive puzzle.

Thankfully, this guy is a large breed puppy, and after being evaluated, we expect these to pass. But this is your friendly reminder that puppies are professional chaos gremlins with paws. Even when you think, “Oh, he would never eat that,” please remember: yes, he absolutely would.

Puppies are curious, fast, sneaky, and apparently very interested in Bluetooth technology. 📱🐶

A few takeaways from our AirPod enthusiast:

Keep small objects, electronics, earbuds, batteries, chargers, socks, toys, and anything remotely chewable out of reach. Foreign objects can cause serious problems, including obstruction, stomach irritation, toxicity concerns, and sometimes the need for surgery.

Also… AirPods are not cheap. Your puppy does not care. 😂
