We welcomed the new year with an amazing review from one of our patients:

Brian wrote on a facebook comment:
"I can’t say enough good things about Global Retina Institute. Dr. Ross and the entire staff were absolutely amazing from start to finish. I had a vitrectomy in my right eye to address floaters, and as a commercial airline pilot, I was extremely apprehensive going into the procedure since maintaining 20/20 vision is critical for my medical certification.

Dr. Ross took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answered all of my questions, and immediately put me at ease. The procedure was a complete success, and my vision is now clearer than it was before surgery. The professionalism, skill, and care shown by both the doctor and staff exceeded my expectations.

I am incredibly grateful and would highly recommend Global Retina Institute to anyone needing retinal care—especially if your vision is mission-critical."

It is always a delight to hear good things from our patients!

Positive thinking fuels positive action.🕵️‍♀️

As local first-year and second-year medical students finish their training in the Red Rover Ventures Sim Center, they get rewarded with personalized lenses to encourage them to pursue ophthalmology. Our little way to not just train but also encourage future ophthalmologists.

Congratulations on our first student trainee finisher, Randle Uyeda! We look forward to one of Arizona's future ophthalmologists!

-----
Special shoutout to Oculus for giving us discounts on these lenses!

For medical students who are interested in training with us, please check our website: https://www.globalretinainstitute.com/train-with-us/

"Rarely is there a doctor that combines expertise, service, and heartfelt care for their patients. Dr Ross and her team do that. My opinion is She is the best in Phoenix, and maybe the best at her trade in the USA. I almost never review. I could not help but give this review for Dr. Ross, as she has earned it." says Bryce on Google

Ever wondered why your eyes itch so much?

It might be Demodex! These is a type of mite living inside human hair follicles. Normally, it doesn't cause any problems, but with poor eye hygiene, they multiply and lead to an infestation. Yes, on your eyelashes!
