Dr. Xiao will be out of the office from 12/19/22 to 1/4/2023. She will be in the office on 1/5/2023.

During this time Dr. Tian and Assistant Therapist Bo will be working in office at both locations.

Our entire office will be closed 12/24/22-1/1/2023 to allow our employees to enjoy the holidays.

We will not be taking any new patients during the holidays. If you have any urgent pain and you are an established patient please call 480-429-8881 and leave a voicemail or email us at [email protected] with your first and last name, phone number, date, and your reason for seeking and appointment. We will return your call when our receptionist returns to office.

Over the years, Great Wall Chinese Medicine has been so fortunate to have employed many outstanding and caring people.

Hope is a powerful thing. The first time I met Dr. Qingsong Xiao, she spoke of hope. I didn't know how much it was lacking in my life until I felt it return. Four appointments into my relationship with this medicine and the team at GWCM, the hope I'm experiencing is magical. Seeing improvement for the first time in a long time is a huge relief.
What I'm recovering from feels too personal to share in detail, but it involves obsessive behavior, shame and isolation from the people I love. The doctors and therapists at GWCM use Traditional Chinese Medicine to seek out the problem at its root, rather than trying to treat the result of the problem. I think that many of us don't have the patience to slow down and find the root of our pain. I think we choose to numb, distract and deceive ourselves into thinking we can heal ourselves with no help from others.
I thought I could do it alone. 4-5 years into these behaviors escalating, I gave up on that and did something brave for myself. I still have to be brave every week when I go to visit the people that are helping me. It takes work to be vulnerable, to breathe through discomfort, to allow emotions I can't even name to come through. I'm eternally grateful to the team at GWCM for welcoming me and encouraging me to do that work. They are full of grace, patience, wisdom and skill.
I hope to continue on this path until I'm confident enough to lessen my visits, but I do think I'll want this medicine in my life for the rest of my life.
