There’s something incredibly special about being surrounded by brilliant minds, shared purpose, and genuine friendship 🤍

The American Academy of Dermatology meeting in Denver was everything I love about this field—innovation, inspiration, and the people who make it all meaningful.

Had the privilege to speak on a Panel ; Evidence- Based Debate on Today's Hottest Injectable Controversies moderated by and .bertucci.
I presented the PRO side as to why Dermatologists should be prescribing HRT and GLP-1s responsibly to our patients. 💪🏻

One of the highlights was reconnecting with and other graduates from our SIU Derm residents reunion—such a full circle moment and a reminder of where it all began.

Grateful for time spent with incredible colleagues and friends like Dr. Neal Bhatia, , , and —conversations that spark ideas, elevate perspective, and remind me why I love what we do.

And always a pleasure connecting with industry partners who are truly pushing innovation forward, including and .

Yesterday during Sciton’s UP Xchange conference in Scottsdale (Feb. 22), I had the honor of receiving Sciton’s Excellence in Aesthetic Leadership Award—and I’m still processing it!

What makes it especially meaningful is that this is the first time Sciton has ever given this award, and I’m humbled to be its first recipient.

Sciton has felt like family to me for decades, and I’m incredibly grateful for the trust and partnership along the way. I’ve worked with Sciton not only as a physician who relies on their laser and light technologies day in and day out with patients, but also behind the scenes—serving on advisory committees as new innovations were developed, refined, and prepared for market.

I also want to share a personal note of gratitude to Sciton founder, Dr. Jim Hobart. Jim has been a longtime colleague, and what I’ve always respected most is his steady focus on what matters: real results and the patient experience. Even as I used his technologies every day in practice, he consistently checked in to understand how it was performing in the real world and how patients were responding.

I’m so grateful, too, to Aaron Burton and Robbie Brindley for carrying that same standard forward—supporting physicians, listening closely to what we see in the treatment room, and pushing for excellence.

Thank you to all of my Sciton family. And to my team and patients—this recognition reflects you, too. I’m grateful every day to do work that I love, alongside people I believe in.
