Tracking macros is NOT required to lose weight or feel good in your body.

Do I think it’s a great tool? Absolutely… for the right season and the right person.

But for most busy moms? It quickly becomes another thing to stress about (on top of everything else they’re already managing).

That’s why I don’t teach strict macro counting in my coaching. I teach simple portion control that gives just enough structure to help you eat balanced, feel confident, and still live your life.

She was crushing CrossFit workouts….

Doing toes-to-bar, weighted sit-ups, and all the “hardcore” ab moves.

Her core was strong, but it wasn’t toning up like she wanted.

No matter how much effort she put in, her stomach still felt disconnected.

And honestly? That’s frustrating when you’re doing the work and not seeing the results you expected.

And just to be clear—I’m not hating on CrossFit.

I think those athletes are incredible.

But it’s important that your training style actually aligns with your goals!

When she came to work with me, we switched the focus.

I taught her how to engage her deep core (transverse abdominals—the ones that act like a built-in corset).

We slowed things down with dead bugs, bird dogs, and glute bridges to help her rebuild connection from the inside out.

The result?

Her core finally started to tone up and feel strong in a way that made sense—because she was training it to function, not just burn.

More isn’t always better.

Better is better.

And that’s exactly what we did.

Happy National Daughters Day 💕

Having a daughter is so much more than cute bows and dresses. It’s a blessing to guide her, encourage her, and remind her of the strength she already has inside.
