Psychological Counseling Services We offer counseling services for individuals, couples, and families. See t’s and c’s: http://bit.ly/29XwCbu.

PCS brings the collective effort of over 20 licensed therapists to provide individuals, couples, and families the therapeutic services they need. Founded in 1973, PCS created a unique intensive treatment model integrating the strengths, personalities, and various modalities of a team of therapists in a weekly format. The unique concept of having a client meet for a 12 hour day in individual sessions with 5 to 7 different therapists combined with daily group experiences often generates change in the most difficult cases and/or relationships. The PCS Intensive Outpatient Program works to bring healing to individuals: struggling to maintain sobriety from addictions (s*x, alcohol, drugs, food, gambling); desiring to develop or increase emotional intimacy in their relationship (emotional and s*xual); or needing to break free from disabling mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. PCS therapists are well versed in attachment based and trauma informed treatment models and function from a systems perspective. The PCS Intensive Outpatient Program brings over 40 years of experience and the collective expertise and wisdom of over 20 therapists to stimulate, inspire, and encourage individual and relationship growth. There’s a moment many of us have experienced: you lie down at night and only then realize you’ve had a headache all day, or that there’s been a knot in your stomach or a tightness in your chest. Sometimes, we push through exhaustion without even noticing we’re tired — just go-go-go all day...

When I was on my mindful walk last week in the 102° weather, I became acutely aware of how sad I will be to stop going on these walks. Summers in Arizona are tough. The intense heat drains the energy out of many of life’s usual rhythms—even something as simple and cherished as going for […]

Okay, I know I am going to sound old and cranky here, but I can’t help but notice how loud most restaurants are these days. I love going out to eat with friends and family. I love trying new foods and breaking bread with those I love. I love slowing down over a meal and […]

At any given moment in time, your senses are bombarded with a vast amount of data.
