A recent study shows that adults with spinal deformity rely on greater muscle activation, larger joint motion, and slower movement strategies during the simple sit-to-stand task.

Using Noraxon's EMG and video analysis technology, researchers were able to uncover differences; highlighting the importance of considering altered biomechanics when developing rehabilitation programs and surgical plans for adult spinal deformity patients.

High Quality Biomechanics

Noraxon technology enables its users to capture high quality human movement data. This is done with a modular approach and easy-to-use toolset of FDA-approved sensor systems and software, myoRESEARCH®. The equipment was built for both researchers and clinicians, a combination of easy-to-use features and reliable research quality data.

What sets Noraxon apart is the variety of data they can be seamlessly collected and combined within a single software platform. The integration of electromyography, force, pressure, motion and high speed video is complemented by automatic synchronization, creating a smarter workflow and reliable data. This single software can take you from data capture, to review and interpretation, all the way through an analysis and reporting. Collection, review, analysis, and reporting is now a streamlined process, even with data from many complex biomechanics recording systems.
