Early last year, we captured a baseline gait analysis for this 15-month-old before introducing custom SMOs—looking at foot pressure, movement patterns, and muscle activity.
Now, after 9 months of use, we repeated the same assessment. Using our pressure walkway and EMG sensors, here is what we found:
Walking looks more natural.
Balance is more consistent.
Steps are longer and more confident.
Our Report shows:
• A smoother heel-to-toe progression
• More consistent foot loading
• Less need for compensation
• Stronger, better-timed push-off
Even muscle activity has changed—less overcompensation, more coordination.
It’s a great example of why having that initial baseline matters. You’re not guessing—you can actually see the progress.
