This past weekend, Dr. Mark Campbell from The CORE Institute attended the 11th Annual “25 Men Who Think They Can Cook”—a lively and delicious event benefiting Childhelp Speak Up Be Safe. Community leaders and local professionals stepped into the kitchen, showcasing their cooking talents in a friendly competition judged by professional chefs. Behind the fun and flavor was a powerful purpose - supporting efforts to prevent and address child abuse.
According to a 2024 report from the Child Welfare League of Arizona, more than 12,000 children in our state were victims of abuse or neglect. This alarming statistic highlights the critical importance of prevention, education, and support for at-risk children. That’s why events like this, and the mission of Childhelp, matter so much.
Childhelp is dedicated to ending child abuse through prevention and intervention programs that empower children to understand their rights, recognize unsafe situations, and know that help is always available. Their work reminds every child that they are valued, deserve to feel safe, and are never alone.
We’re proud to stand alongside organizations, partners, and individuals committed to protecting the most vulnerable in our communities. A special thank-you to Childhelp Flagstaff Chapter for the opportunity to support this meaningful cause.
