Hyperextension injuries can occur from repeated slamming on the brake, using a shovel, or even walking without enough support. It ends up as long term arthritis, which hurts.

If this happens to you, or you feel pain in this area of your foot, first get sturdy shoes (shoes where the soles don’t twist) & some arch supports and we can evaluate you for custom orthotics & other treatments.

Hyperextension injuries to the midfoot on the football and soccer fields can result in the same foot injury from the pedal during a car accident. This motion can result in a dislocation at the midfoot. Left untreated, this can lead to significant instability, degeneration and disability. Many times, surgery is the only option to restore the alignment in this joint. Go

Bionic clothing is on the rise! This upcoming wearable leg sleeve will be able to assist people with a foot drop! It analyzes, predicts & augments your foot to move in the dorsiflexion (toes go up) necessary to raise your foot during gait. Within a second before the foot lifts off the ground, this device will predict what to do. This new adaptive system uses sensors and electrical stimulation, to send electrical signals which activate the body’s muscles to produce a more natural movement, and provide real-time adjustments.

We’re a technology start-up on a mission to build a platform for human augmentation that powers people to transcend physical limitations.

Hammer toe, claw toe, and mallet toe are similar conditions that target different joints in the foot. With mallet toe, the end joint collapses, causing the very end of the toe to turn down. Symptoms include redness, pain, swelling, and calluses. We have both non-surgical and surgical treatments based on the severity of the deformation.

If you need treatment for hammer, claw, or mallet toe, call us today to schedule an appointment!
