Meet the Teacher!

There’s a new smile in our community! We are so excited to have Kaylynn joining our yoga family. She is such a wonderful addition to the team, and we’re so grateful to have her heart and talent here at Yoga’s Arc.

Here’s a little bit about Kaylynn…

Kaylynn’s love for yoga started in 2015 with her very first class in college. What began as a class quickly became something much deeper. Her teacher blended traditional yoga with knowledge of the body, movement, and spirituality in a way that completely shifted her life.

In 2016, Kaylynn knew she wanted to become a yoga teacher and health coach, but life had other plans. It was not until 2023 that she found her way back to yoga, this time with a sense of purpose. She began rebuilding her personal practice and went on to complete her 200 hour YTT and 30 hour restorative training.

Since then, she has also become certified in Reiki Master energy healing and is currently studying Ayurvedic Counseling. Through the journey of returning to herself, Kaylynn discovered how powerful it is to take a pause, make space for yourself, and get honest about what you truly want out of life.

Yoga has opened doors she never imagined possible, and she feels so grateful to now share her story, her practice, and her teachings with others.

Still can’t believe I get to call this home 🥹

Reminder: Take time for yourself to pause from the chaos. Allow yourself to explore whatever it is that brings you peace.

Day 5 lunch!

My favorite meal of the detox.

Barley with split mung, spices, parsnip, cauliflower, and parsley. I had never had barley or parsnip before Ayurveda but they have turned into some of my favorites!

Yay! It’s the second annual group Pause & Restore week!

Time to slow down and let our bodies focus on rebalancing digestion.

Both lunch and dinner today is Kitchari with fresh herbs. I made mine extra soupy for the added hydration and I think I like it even more this way!

Daily gratitude: I finally have a patio and can eat outside 🤗

Kitchari: Basmati rice, split mung bean, warming digestive spices, and fresh herbs.

There’s definitely magic in doing the uncomfortable things.

During week two of the detox, I asked everyone to take themselves on a date and stretch beyond what feels safe.

In week three, we begin decreasing caffeine, so I took myself to a busy coffee shop for my last coffee for a while. I ordered their specialty, journaled in public, and practiced my morning affirmations.

It felt awkward and vulnerable.
Yet somehow, incredibly expansive.

So, do the weird things and free yourself from that fear. Even if it’s something super small!
