Concussions can indeed have "silent" or delayed symptoms, meaning symptoms may not be immediately apparent or may appear weeks or even months after the initial injury. These symptoms can include headaches, dizziness, memory problems, and changes in mood or behavior.

Delayed Symptoms:While many concussion symptoms appear within minutes or hours of the injury, some may not be noticed for days or even weeks later. This can be particularly true for mild concussions where the initial impact doesn't cause immediate loss of consciousness.
Subtle Symptoms:
Some symptoms, like difficulty concentrating or memory problems, might be subtle initially and only become apparent as the injury progresses.

Post-Concussion Syndrome:In some cases, concussion symptoms can persist for an extended period, leading to a condition known as post-concussion syndrome. This syndrome can involve persistent headaches, dizziness, balance problems, and cognitive difficulties, among other symptoms.
