Here at Amber Creek Memory Care, team members create unique, individualized moments that give residents purpose and bring joy. A great example of this is a maintenance program created by Plant Manager Edgar Beltran.

Edgar engages residents in hands-on projects like painting, changing light bulbs and washing the community’s vintage car. Together they laugh, take pride in their work and build connections.

Edgar Beltran has a lot of help these days to complete his duties as plant manager for Amber Creek Memory Care in Scottsdale: residents regularly help with the building’s maintenance.

We all can’t thank everyone enough for the Humanitude trainings visits this week!
Joao is amazing and such a wonderful human being. All the staff were so impressed with him and they all made great connections with one another during all the trainings. We had a wonderful caregiver….her name is Janet, at Amber Creek, she’s been with us 5 years and has been in healthcare for 15 ….she said this was the most valuable training she’s ever received. She did a testimony at the VIP luncheon yesterday with all of our VIP industry partners. She voiced that these techniques are already working with the residents and was helping her day run smoother. Her connections with the residents is making her job run smoother. She said she feels happier at work. 🥰
Everyone is so excited and they are implementing these tools!

All of the industry partners that came yesterday were super impressed as well and had wonderful questions and a great discussion with Joao. Excited for these industry partners to continue talking about the experience they had yesterday and spreading the word out in the industry!!!!

We are all grateful for the continued investment back in the communities with staff, residents, and families!
