Results!

Patient is hanging from the pull-up bar, eyes closed.

Pic 1: It’s quite visible that the patient’s spine is slanting upward and to the left from the pelvis. This can cause shoulder, hip, and even knee pain.

Pic 2: Straight spine. Period. Patient feels less twisted and more aligned. Reduced pain and discomfort overall.

Treating chronic neck pain.
Neck pain is a consequence of structural weakness. If the torso cannot rotate and if the shoulder is unstable, the neck will surely be in pain.
Stop stretching your neck and start activating.
Here is engagement of the posterior shoulder and neck complex. Left rotation of the torso further engages the latissimus and left side erectors. Left lateral translation of the head also adds to this exercise.

firing up the Superficial back line in a unilateral stance.🔥
This allows lumbar stability and glute firing.
Other benefits of glute firing:
1️⃣ Less pain
2️⃣ More power from the ground through the pelvis into the upper body
3️⃣ Nice glutes
Better movement = Less pain

Left pic: low back and hip pain on both sides present for 1 year 👎🏻
Right pic: no pain consistently for 1 month👍🏻
Both pics are taken with relaxed posture without cueing.
While posture differences seem small, they make a huge difference in pain levels and quality of life.

Matador’s wheel with a fixed target 🎯
Our bodies are meant to fix upon a target and move in a coordinated fashion, as if to focus on prey and chase it at the same time.
Unfortunately I don’t have a moving target, so I’m using a fixed target for the eyes (dots on a mirror) The dots, being located on a mirror, creates “contamination” of the stimulus. This makes it more difficult to focus on the given target due to the “moving” background.
With coordination exercises, the head typically turns with the body to compensate for a lack of strength. Here I’m forcing myself out of that pattern... with some difficulty.
