Stress isn’t just in your head; it’s in your heart. Long-term stress, anxiety and trauma can raise heart rate and blood pressure, reduce blood flow, and build calcium in arteries over time, putting you at greater risk for heart disease.

For the second straight year, thanks to the dedication of Chris Meredith of Med Center IT, and his daughter, Toys for Tots Youth Ambassador, Darby Meredith, 40 Med Center Health locations will serve as Toys for Tots donation centers.

Boxes have begun getting set up. We ask that all new, unwrapped toy donations be for children 12 and under. Please do not put any names on the donation. Most importantly, ALL donations stay local to the county where they were given. Toys for Tots does request that you stay away from electronic accessories like ear buds, Bluetooth devices, etc. Most kids in need do not have devices that these items could be used.

Toys for Tots makes a difference in the lives of the less fortunate children in our communities. In 2024, more than 31,000 children received toys through local Toys for Tots programs in 17 Kentucky counties.

Families wishing to sign up to receive toys can call 270-562-0518.

To make monetary donations or to find out more about what you can do, visit www.toysfortots.org or our page: https://www.facebook.com/toysfortotsbgky.
