Join us May 16 for a fun-filled “night at the Museum”! Bring a bagged dinner for the evening, then join us in our 19th-century tavern for family-friendly beverages and treats, play historical games, and make your own historical games.

Before camping out for the night, attend a guided tour in the 19th-century village, and sit beside a campfire to roast marshmallows and share stories. In the morning, join us for breakfast and coffee before we head out on a morning trail hike to enjoy the signs of spring popping up around us.

REMINDER! Thursday, April 16 | 7:00 PM
Union Presbyterian Church, 1 Browns Avenue, Scottsville
Join us for a fascinating talk by Jules Hoepting, Environmental Educator for NYS Parks. To the untrained eye, the remains of the Genesee Valley Canal might look like a simple ditch—but it’s actually a "faded tattoo" with a dramatic backstory. Like a soap opera plot, the canal's construction was filled with unexpected twists and "illogical ambition" before being replaced nearly overnight by the railroad. Come explore why so much effort was spent on this corridor and why it remains so relevant to our lives today. Lots of parking behind the church.
