With special certifications in Yoga for Kids, "Grief yoga , and Cancer wellness,
Certified in MBSR program out of UMASS. Also, has studied meditation and kundilina yoga. Mindy works with several area Doctors and their patience to bring healing to chronic illness by treating the person as a whole and not just their symptoms.
Mindy believes learning is the key to staying inspired and lively and continues to take workshops and attends speeches on a regular basis. Yoga for Grief and loss has set her out on a whole new path . The program has won an award for JCC Scranton and has been recognized by Hospice as a key component in healing
She has studied with internationally‐known teachers including Rodney Yee, Seane Corn, Shiva Rea, Ana Forrest, Gurmuk of Golden Bridge , Sierra Bender and has taken many meditation workshops with Sally Kempton .Also most recently studied with Jon Kabat Zinn in his MBSR program.
