It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our colleague and business partner, James 'Jamie' Valvano, who passed away on September 2, 2025. Jamie was more than just a partner—he was a trusted friend and an integral part of our company’s foundation. For over 9 years, Jamie helped shape Lake Scranton Urgent Care into what it is today. He will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments but also for his kindness and the positive impact he had on everyone around him. We are seeing a lot of positive flu cases the last few weeks. Stop in to get your flu shot before attending holiday functions. Protect yourself and your loved ones.

We have a few high dose vaccines left for those 65 and older. We have plenty of regular dose. They are covered by most insurances based on your policy.

We are hiring! We are currently looking for 2 per diem Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants. Shifts are 8 or 10 hours and would mostly be Saturdays and Sundays, to cover call-offs, or to fill in for vacations.
