Just a friendly reminder!
If you get a call that looks like it’s from your insurance company wanting to “review your 2026 plan,” please be careful!
Even though it may show your carrier’s name on caller ID, those callers do not know you, your doctors, or how your plan actually works. Most of my clients were referred by friends or family because I take time to make sure your plan truly fits your needs—and I’m here all year long to help.
Unfortunately, many carriers are trying to reduce the role of local brokers by calling behind our backs and switching clients into plans that might not be in their best interest. If a better plan existed, I would have already told you!
👉 Do not make any plan changes over the phone with someone calling from your insurance company.
👉 Call or text your broker first—and wait for a call back before agreeing to anything.
👉 You are not rushed! You can change your plan for a January 1st effective date until December 7th, and you also have January, February, and March to make a change during the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period.
If they switch your plan, you might not be able to get your old one back.
Please stay cautious and reach out if you’re unsure about any calls you receive.
Thank you,
Betty Jo Miller
