Malcolms Office
So many of you know me because I grew up in Seaford and now I still live in Seaford with my Husband Joe and my 2 children. I graduated in 1984, yes, I am getting old.
So my Dad, Malcolm, started an optical business in our garage when he came to this country from England, about 50 years ago. Through this great little business, he has raised his 5 children. My brother Paul got his optical license right out of school and I got mine when I was 25. So It feels like I have been doing this forever. I took over my Dads office in 1998 and i now hire him and fire him every so many days. Malcolm is now 88 years old and still helping in the office and as you may have seen, he is my top model.
So Dad started this business to help out people that couldn't afford to pay much for glasses. He could keep his prices low because he didn't have to pay rent for the office space. So, we continue to follow Dads lead and keep prices down so people can afford good quality glasses at a decent price.
