Master of Education in Human S*xuality: COMPLETED

Attending commencement last week at Widener University was a blast! I loved catching up with classmates and professors, many of which I had only interacted with through a computer. I'm so happy and proud to have made it to this milestone!

S*x therapy is for everyone! Individuals, couples, partnerships, and polycules! We are currently accepting both individuals and relationships for new sessions. This therapeutic modality illuminates the role of sexuality in every facet of our lives to aid in creating a deeper understanding of self and strengthening interpersonal relationships. Through knowledge, empathy, and client-focused interventions, I accompany my clients in constructing the best version of themselves.

It is hard to believe that it has been 10 years since I graduated UMES with a masters in rehabilitation counseling! (Throwback photo included!) This last decade has seen promotions, family building, loss, and success. Next week, I will be celebrating another milestone in conferring a 2nd masters! This time a masters of education in human sexuality from Widener University! Next week's graduation also marks the completion of my doctoral course work meaning that I will be beginning work on my dissertation this fall! I want to extend a sincere thank you to my professors, colleagues, and clients for all you have taught me over this last decade and to my family for the kindness, grace, and support you have given me!

Research Participants Needed!
Help contribute to human sexuality research and student learning by taking part in an anonymous online survey. Must be aged 18+ and be able to take the survey in English or Spanish.

The survey is 10-30 minutes long—the exact length depends on how many questions are relevant for your identities and experiences. You don’t have to finish it all at once. Questions ask about many different topics, including sexual desire, communication, and satisfaction, gender and sexual identities, physical and mental health, and experiences related to sexual assault. My part of the research focuses on gender euphoria and sexual wellbeing with the survey including other topics as well.

Survey responses will be used for class learning purposes in graduate research courses at Widener University and may be used by students and professors in future publications and presentations.

For each completed survey, we will donate $1 to your choice of three charities (Black Mental Health Alliance, Gender Justice League, or RAINN). Though more than 1000 people may take the survey, we only have the budget to donate a total of $1000. Find out more and participate here: https://tinyurl.com/ClassWellbeingSurvey

Participation is completely voluntary. Widener University IRB has approved the solicitation of participants for this study ( #833-26, expires 01/30/2027). Email faculty investigator (Dr. Brooke Wells: bewells@widener.edu) with any questions.

Such a wonderful message about finding ways to incorporate everyday joy even in this current chaos.
