Today was parade day!!!

The Monarch Meadows Fall pageant court gathered up and had an early lunch, then off to the bus so they could load up and get lined up for the parade.

Kennedi Dotson the 2025 Seaman Fall Festival Queen came in and talked with us and got pictures with our Fall pageant Queen and Ambassador.
Kennedi was sponsored by Monarch Meadows! Congratulations!

Our local street fair is going on and some of us got to put things we made in the hall entry in to be judged. We submitted paintings, quilts, jewelry, and doilies.

Congratulations to those that received placement. We had several!!!

Brenda Daulton is our Monarch Meadows Fall Festival Ambassador!

A mother of one son, Brenda has lived a full and exciting life. Brenda shared her wonderful art with us that she drew with colored pencils. (Pictured with one of her favorites) Brenda studied under James "SKIP" Werline as Southern State. Several pieces of Brenda's art have won many awards. She uses a variety of techniques including paint, pencils, and watercolors.

Brenda also owned and ran the Gingerbread Daycare for 10-plus years, where she got to be mamaw Brenda to many kids!

Miss Brenda you are gorgeous inside and out and we just adore you!

Our first runner up is Linda Downs
She had two years in early education, and degree in fine arts. She taught head start and college. Linda said she taught herself how to play the piano in the third grade and then later became an Eastern Star organist. Linda raised her four daughters and a granddaughter.

Our second runner-up is Esther Miller. Esther is a mother of two and was a cook at Brown County Vocational School as well as in nursing homes and other restaurants in Brown County.
She always loved to be able to help others.

Our third runner up is Linda Tomaselli.
Linda was a pediatric nurse for 12 years and has a bachelor's in psychology. She's a proud mother of four children and five grandchildren.

We are so very proud of these ladies. Great job!

Joyce Said, was our Monarch Meadows Fall Festival Queen! We wanted to take a moment and highlight her.

Joyce said some of her proudest moments was becoming a mom to her son and being a very independent woman. Joyce was an activity assistant for seven years and enjoyed it very much.

Joyce and her court will be going through the Seaman Fall Festival parade next week.
