Today, NCPA had the honor of welcoming Dr. Ethan Melillo as our guest speaker at our General Meeting. Dr. Melillo shared his journey into pharmacy and explained how his experiences as a pharmacist ultimately helped launch his successful social media career. He discussed the importance of finding your niche, building professional relationships, and using social media as a platform to educate patients and advocate for the pharmacy profession. He provided valuable insight into the evolving role of pharmacists and demonstrated how creativity and innovation can open doors to unique career opportunities beyond traditional practice settings. We are very thankful he took the time to speak to us!

Today, NCPA had the privilege of welcoming Zach Martin and Warren Woodham, of Ashford Advisors, as guest speakers at our general meeting. They shared practical insight on financial planning specifically for pharmacists, including strategies for managing student loans, pharmacy ownership possibilities, and investment opportunities. We’re grateful for their time and expertise, and for helping equip our student pharmacists with tools they can use now and after graduation.

NCPA’s own Cameron Head and Jacie Owens had the privilege of delivering our donation to His House yesterday. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait to see the impact it will have on lives within our community.

NCPA was grateful for the opportunity to raise over $750 through our Pennies for a Purpose project to support His House here in Searcy, AR. His House is a local nonprofit that provides food, clothing, and essential resources to individuals and families in need, offering support and stability during difficult times. We are truly thankful to have played a small part in serving our community and spreading a little hope this holiday season.
