Our residents are getting ready to welcome many K-3 through 2nd graders for Neawanna’s Annual Harvest Carnival with Anchor Academy. Packing Halloween goody bags full of sweets & treats with a morning full of fun and games planned.

Residents & staff team up to run different games stations, the kids get a visit from the Seaside Fire Department with safety tips for trick or treating & to top it off they get tour the fire trucks!

Our residents at Neawanna by the Sea spent time together today talking & laughing while preparing homemade animal treats for the dogs at Clatsop County Animal Shelter. Helen, Eileen, Ann, and Wanda were busy making organic dog treats that are made with a simple recipe with oatmeal, bananas, and peanut butter.

We are looking forward to going out & about tomorrow to share the homemade treats with our furry friends at the animal shelter. There are several dogs & cats at the shelter that would love to find a forever home!

A night out with friends for dinner. The South Jetty Restaurant has a great variety on their menu — the special was chicken fried steak, some of our residents had fish and chips. We all enjoyed an evening of good friends and good food. We hope to see you on our next trip.

Happy National Cinnamon Roll Day! To celebrate & share with fellow residents ~ Steve, Cheri, Eileen, and Helen spent the morning making cinnamon rolls for everyone to enjoy.

What a beautiful day on the Oregon coast! With Fall in swing & winter on the horizon ~ what better to do than to gather residents for an impromptu outing to the beach to take full advantage on the sunshine 🌞

After lunch we headed to the beach with a bus full to include Eileen, Shirley, Lynn, Bonnie, Steve, Chuck, Micheal, Johnny, & a few staff. We all had fun laughing, dancing, & just enjoying the power and peace of the ocean.

Miss Eileen at 100 years old not only was dancing & singing to her own tune with Lupita ~ she also wanted to walk down to the water to get her feet wet! & The look on her face was priceless when the cold waves hit her toes!

Please join us next time we head to the beach or stop to say hi next time you see you see us out & about!

We were welcomed by B-B Stables to spend time with the horses. These horses have a personality all their own.
Michael, Eileen, Steve, Betty and Johnny had a wonderful time during their visit to the stables feeding the horses apples and carrots, but they always wanted more!
These beautiful horses are awesome pet therapy! The horses were enjoying the visit as much as the residents. Sometimes the companionship between pets and people is needed.
We want to thank B-B Stables for hospitality & graciousness having us at the stables!
