Hi all I'm sure you have or have not noticed that we've been pretty distant since little man's last surgery. He's doing really really well but life got a little chaotic afterwards. Ended up having to leave that job and have been going back and forth between specialists for him and you know just life itself.
That being said, we have a little bit of stock from pre-made orders that are just sitting around doing nothing lol So keep an eye out in the following weeks as I will be purging our stash and hosting a massive sale on set items!

We are home and pretty comfortable. 💓 He's been doing great post op without pain meds, we just have a rough road ahead of us with diaper rash.
Thank you to everyone who has helped out and given us well wishes. It means the world's to us 💞
Back to the cuddles for now!

Holy crap I can't believe we are two days out from his last planned surgery!! A big thank you to everyone who has donated, ordered shirts, or anything else to help keep up floating along with all this craziness. 💓 There won't be any new design drops or many updates until we are home and settled, but keep a look out for June! I've been trying out some resin stuff 😳😁

11 days out till surgery!
Q: How many surgeries and why??
As I had mentioned last post, every case of Imperforate a**s (IA) is a little different. In Malcolm's case, his re**um attached to his bladder instead of the normal opening like most people have. This wasn't caught until his 24 hr checkup when a nurse caught it. Within 20 minutes he was in NICU getting his little tummy pumped so that he didn't hurt his intestines. Within 48 hrs of being born his colostomy bag had been placed. This is basically an opening in his stomach where one part of his intestine comes out so that he can expel f***l matter.
His second surgery that was to make his re**um opening also known as a PSARP. His surgery went great and we have even had a few "racing stripes" of diapers (scared the p**p outta me! *Pun intended 🤣😅*)
This last surgery is to reconnect the intestine that has been at surface level (his ostomy) and get the p**p train a going! 🤣🤣 I cannot express how excited we are to have p**py diapers and no more bag!

Hi all! We are just over two weeks away from Malcolm's third surgery! I have had some questions about his condition, his surgeries, and what his future may look like, so I thought I might answer some of those questions over the next two weeks.
What is his condition?
An Imperforate a**s (IA) is basically where the re**um does not form correctly in utero. In his case, it attached itself to his bladder. There are so many other conditions that can corelate with IA, which is why we believe he has only one kidney as well. We are lucky he has such few conditions as heart, bone, eating, and other digestive issues are very common to happen as well. There are so many different forms of IA that every case is really unique and different solutions may happen for different families. This is a life long condition, though we will not know the extent of his control/lack of control of any part of his re**um until close to potty training age.

Mr Malcolm had his last Dr appointment before his 3rd surgery today! He is very happy with how Malcolm is handling his dialations, and we get to lessen the frequency in two weeks! We were told we are looking at minimum about 4 days hospital stay, but it really depends on how his bowels wake up. Any and all support is grately appreciated 💖💖

Hey everyone! We officially have Malcolm's LAST surgery (🤞🤞) to get this boy p**ping normally!
Ths go around is a little big tougher for us as I have had to quit my job due to COVID, and so funds are a bit more tight. SO!
