Waterfall Body Therapy

Waterfall Body Therapy Jennifer Kantzer, LMT We are designed to be balanced and symmetrical, but at times we get out of balance due to the challenges and stress of life.

All of our experiences are literally held in our tissues and muscles. Injuries, both old and new, create patterns of tension, guarding, and loss of range of motion. Initially these reactions after an injury serve to protect us, but if brushed aside they often lead to chronic stiffness and tension. Massage can help break up these patterns and allow us to be loose and flexible which benefits our health and happiness. We strive for balance in our bodies and our lives, and massage is a great way to promote the flexibility we strive for. Jennifer Kantzer graduated from the Cayce-Reilly School of Massotherapy in Virginia Beach, VA, April of 2000. Her training included Neuromuscular, Myofascial, Reflexology, Pre-natal Massage and Craniosacral. Along with the technical skills and knowledge, there was also an emphasis on developing an awareness that the mind, body, and spirit are connected and influence each other. Jennifer prides herself in the gentle way she works with a client to maneuver through layers, taking physical cues from the muscles to be able to get effective results. She views it as the therapist's role to support knowledge and impart advice to the client to promote wellness and self-empowerment on their healing path. Jennifer has had her practice in Rainier Beach in South Seattle since 2006 and in 2016 began studying new research on the interconnected network of bones, muscles, cartilage, ligaments, tendons, and fascia and the tensional-integrity of our bio-mechanical structure, known as Tensegrity. Tension is the opposite of compression. Our living connective tissue network relies on this pulley system of tension and compression to keep all the parts moving and playing and gliding with ease. Through postural assessment and myofascial testing, Jennifer is able to able to evaluate the areas of the musculoskeletal structure with too much pull on the system. Hands-on treatments help restore normalized range of motion, myofascial length and re-train movement patterns to restore balance in the three dimensional system.

Clearing the cache. Sometimes things get wiped away for you.
What is real and true? Love is real. Nature is real and true and is reflected when I look up at the Sky. Everything in creation comes from the One-ness. I can fully appreciate the light because of the dark. I live in this whole-y temple for a brief time. The One-ness is forever.
We can agree to disagree AND hold respect for others. I can slowly unfurl like the buds of spring all around me. That coming back to myself and then unfurling becomes my strength.

It’s not for me to tell others what to do. It’s to show the gratitude of life. Let go of what no longer serves. Let others see through their Own Eyes. To really truly see, how unique they are and how their unique vibration is needed in the world. To allow. I’m done being the shock absorber for others. Emotional regulation ya’ll. Expression and connection.

Allow all the feelings and allow the emotions to be in motion. Having emotions is human. Communication is crucial in any kinda relationship. In my youth I found my rebellious part but in my middle age, I desire calm. The rebel is still there thankfully, I just go to bed way earlier most days.

Emergencies can stop the distractions. I keep returning to myself. There is slow progress and also tectonic shifting. All is necessary and wise. Turning inward. I was a few days ago old when I learned the leaves of plants follow the sun so precisely because it is the shadow side that turns toward the light. Turn towards. Turn inward. Turn toward. Turn inward. Ward off. Wax on. Honor nature AND we are a part of this natural earth that is a haven/heaven.

Tell me, share: - How do you honor yourself and the natural laws of Mother Nature?

two friends hugging.
Feeling.
Trusting.
Connecting.

Hold all the parts of yourself dearly and find the others that allow for real truths.

I highly recommend JamienRose.com for anyone who has a body that moves. To dial in how you are already moving, to find where you are not moving, to ease the places that are moving too much, to find your center and move from there.
I just went to her Bellevue studio, surprisingly easy to get to from the south end, and so much of my system got to release and unwind. and as I did some movement here on my own this morning I feel the effects of that in my body days later. The one-on-one attention can be like fine tuning your unique body.

Sending out so much gratitude to my friends, family, clients, and community! Thank you for all the special ways you enrich my life.
